Project: Album Covered with Kraft Tex

Working on a new mini album.  I like to use Kraft Tex to cover my albums.  It provides a nice sturdy, one piece cover.  After I finish the inside of the album, I will decorate the outside.  I usually end up getting finger prints or smudges on the outside.  Kraft Tex wash easily with water and a brisk scrub.

I completely cover the chipboard with double sided adhesive, I prefer Scor Tape.
Making sure to get edge to edge coverage with the tape.
I than place the chip board onto the Kraft Tex.
And then place a strip of 0.25 inch scor tape next to the chipboard.
This gives me the exact spacing needed.
I reinforce the spice with extra adhesive
Using a ruler, I line the spine top edge with the first piece of chipboard.

And then place a second piece of 0.25 inch scor tape.
I then place the last piece of chipboard.

Using a rotary cutter, I trim 1 inch around the chipboard
It is very important to train your Kraft Tex to fold around and over the chipboard.
I use a bonefolder and burnish & pull until it folds over nicely.
Then place scor tape on all four sides.
Trim the corners, to assist with a nice folded corner.

Peel back the paper tape cover slightly from the center spine.
Fold first two of the opposite sides, and then the final two sides.

Once you have completed, work the center spine until it forms your book cover.

Supplies:
Kraft Tex fabric paper - Can be purchased at fabric stores or online
Scor Tape
Perfect Trim Ruler - to get that corner cut just right

Kathy King, of Paper Phenomenon, was the person who originally introduced me to Kraft Tex.

Project: Coffee Cup holder and sign

Made this  sign / coffee cup holder for my office at work a year a ago.
And now that I don't have an office, it is sitting in my craft room against the wall.
It is old barn wood with 5 hooks, painted and distressed.
Crafting is part of what keeps me balanced

Projects: Personalized cups for a few friends

Needed to create some samples for a class that I will be teaching soon.  Made these items for a few friends with left over scraps from other projects.   My husband laughs at me when he sees the small pieces I save, but look what was created with that little piece of vinyl.
For my friend, who is a teacher

Beginning of a water bottle for a friend who has decided to drink more fluids.

Noticed the spelling error after it was applied.  Will need to redo.
I have quite a few friends getting married in the next year.

Beach, Sip, Relax, Repeat:  for my sister-in-law who lives for the beach.
