What is your "WHY"?

Once again I have restarted Weight Watchers.  I have been successful in the past, but am such a stress and social eater.  But I need to dig deep and figure out exactly why I want to lose weight and find the determination to keep it off.

A specific realistic reason can give me a concrete idea to focus on when I am feeling challenged in my weight loss journey.  To help me forgo that cookie that is calling my name at 8 pm, just before bed.

Motivation can evolve and change as my body and/or mindset does.   But first I need to figure out what that reason is.

Why do I want to lose the weight?  Is it to get healthier, to look better, to have a better self esteem?
What does it look like? Can I picture it in my mind?
What is my "I" statement?
Is my "I" statement positive?

I would like to loose weight so that I can feel better about myself and that my outer image matches the inner image that I have in my mind.    I am not concerned about feeling "more loved or respected."  I just want to feel healthier.

Project: Paper Bow

Was invited to a co-worker's son's 2nd birthday party.   Found the perfect gift, but needed to wrap it appropriately.  I had  plain blue paper and but no bow or card.  So I decided to make a quick paper bow using cartoon cardstock.

First attempt at a paper bow and this is what I learned
  1.  Make sure to have supplies handy.  (I ran up and down the stair a lot.)
  2. Liquid glue worked best for gluing the pieces together.
  3. But double sided tape works best for sticking the bow to the package.
  4. Have patience to hold the pieces together while the glue dries
  5. Next time I will design a print and cut label/tag. and use more yellow in the tag.
  6. Time to stock up on solid colored cardstock. (needed yellow for the tag)

Silhouette Cameo carrying bag and matching accessory tote

I have to share this Etsy Store, Homespun Expressions which was recommended by My Paper Craze.

It is for a custom carrying case and matching large purse for the Silhouette Cameo and yes, she makes them for the Cricut Machines too.  You can also get a case made for your die cut machines and a laptop cover.

Pictures below are just examples of her creativity.  I ordered mine in black faux leather and will post a picture when I receive it.

Project: Bows for a friend

Created these bows for a friend of a friend.
It is so much easier to personalize with the use of my Cameo and the heat press.

A little late in posting, but I feel like I have been running behind on everything for the last few months.   Gotta get my act together sometime soon.....

Received my box from the ladies at My Paper Craze and the theme for this month is Babies!
And as always, there is everything included to create the projects, with tutorials on their website.
